CHESAPEAKE, VA Janet (Sammie) Broadhurst Ramsey 37, went to be with our Lord, Friday, January 26, 2007. An Angel who got her wings. Our beloved Sammie is survived by her loving husband Kevin Ramsey; one Daughter Jessice Marteny, two Step son's Brandon & Auston; one Granddaughter Kaylie Senters; her Mother Marie Broadhurst, one Sister Linda Marie Rose, four Brothers David, Billy, Bobby and Danny Broadhurst; Numerous nieces, nephews and dearest friend Tamara Nicole Stephenson. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the Francis Gay Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1146 Rodger Street, Chesapeake. Pastor Connie Shoemaker will officiate. The interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. The visitation will begin on Monday with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends are invited to sign the online guest book and send condolences at www.omanfh.com.
