Bio

The CORPORATE MACHINE has spoken. I was trying to fulfill requests from Woodlawn in Norfolk, VA and was told without family permission, they can't give me grave locations because they're SCI run now. Cemeteries are public places aren't they? If you have a request and know the grave location, reach out to me personally and I will take the photo for you.

FINISHED my personal project to digitize Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Linden, NJ. I entered all legible burials from the old record book between 1911 and 1977. I am working on burials after 1977 and taking photos when I'm in town. Sections A, C & D are complete as well as the areas left and right of the war memorial. Now on section B. The current management of the cemetery has plots and areas lettered and numbered differently than pre-1978. Many requests remaining are unmarked. Stillbirths and young children were often buried unmarked and free of charge along the fence behind the war memorial.

I check on edits every couple weeks or so. I'll get to yours. I promise.

I'm originally from Westfield, NJ, went to Marist College, married a sailor and moved to Va Beach. I've done genealogy for my family since 2006 and I am VERY Polish haha! My side includes Stec, Trela, Wnek, Novak, Ciechowski, Maciorowski, Gasiorowski, Trzeciak, Golda, Krupski, of Poland, NJ and PA. My husband's side is King, Hill, McDougal, Ellis, Mitchell, Bangs, Doyle, Cross of MO and AR. I am Mom to Nathaniel, 14 and Tristan, 11, and stepmom to Josh and Faith. I am intrigued especially by military markers because of my husband's career, and by those of children and young people whose lives were taken too soon.
