Norma June Griffin, 85, of Spencer, passed away Wednesday January 10, 2018 at IU Health Hospital in Bloomington. She was born February 4, 1932 in Muncie to Joseph W. and Mary Alice (Pittenger) Conger. She was a 1950 graduate of Patricksburg High School. She served in the United States Army. Norma worked for the Spencer Evening World and the Spencer Owen Public Library. She was a member of the Spencer United Methodist Church, had been a 4-H leader and president of the Patricksburg PTO, member at large of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, the Ronoro Trio and the church choir. She also worked Friday mornings at the Mark Mission Store. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, counted cross-stitch, jig saw puzzles, crossword puzzles and bingo. She loved her family and the Lord most of all.

Norma is survived by her children, Tammy Ewbank of Spencer, Linda Esposito of New Jersey, David Perez of Florida, stepson, Joe Griffin of North Carolina, siblings, Jeanne Kelly of Vincennes, Sue Holly of Lumberton, MS, Robert Conger of Franklin, Keith Conger of Dayton, TX, several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 42 years, Claude Lee Griffin, a daughter, Carmen Perez, and a brother, Charles Conger.

Funeral services will be held 2pm, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Pastor Drew Baker will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
