She was born in Bluford, Illinois on January 7, 1944, to Frank & Nadene (Mills) O'Dell. In May 1965, she married Lonnie Burkett of Xenia, IL. She spent her life as a loving wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was the most cherished part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Therrell O'Dell, and 1 sister Wanda Schaefer.
Services for Joyce will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Kohn Funeral Home in Flora, IL. Interment will immediately follow at Oddfellows Cemetery in Xenia, IL, Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the funeral home.
