Virginia B. Isherwood, age 92, longtime resident of Two Rivers, WI entered eternal life early Sunday morning, January 7, 2018.

Virginia was born in Stevens Point, WI on September 3, 1925 to the late Julius and Regina Ostrowski Rzentkowski. She was a graduate of Amherst High School, and furthered her education at the Buffalo County Normal School in Alma, WI, and Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, WI. On September 2, 1950, she married Anthony J. Isherwood at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, WI. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1971. Virginia was employed with the Two Rivers Public School System for 26 years as a second grade teacher at Magee Elementary School; she also taught religious education classes as a volunteer for 32 years at Holy Redeemer Parish in Two Rivers. Virginia enjoyed taking religious courses, and also enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include her five children: Kathy (Vinh) Pham of Trabuco Canyon, CA; Patti (Jay Schukow) Isherwood of Sturgeon Bay, WI, Mark Isherwood of Reedsville, WI, Peter Isherwood of Two Rivers, and Paul Isherwood of Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren: Kristina, Caroline, Christopher, Tiffany, Cherie, Tony, Felicia, Seleena, Maria, Daniel; and 10 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother, Richard (Diana) Rzentkowski of Stevens Point, and four sisters: Bernice Gawinski and Leona Brantmeier of Menasha, WI, Rita Demski and Germaine (Ron) Borski of Stevens Point; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, WI. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Daniel Hackel, with burial in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery, Stevens Point.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, after 9:00 a.m. Friday until the time of mass at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.
