Max A. Sieracki, age 89, of W13905 County Trunk W, Crivitz, Wis., died Monday evening Oct. 13, 2003 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 pm Thursday, Oct. 16, 2003 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry with burial on Friday at St. Casimir Catholic Church Cemetery, Northeim at 10 am.

Max was born on Feb. 17, 1914 in Northeim, son of the late Andrew and Anna Mrotek Sieracki. On Nov. 11, 1944, Max married the former Marguerite Malloy at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The couple then joined St. Casimir Catholic Church in Northeim. In his younger years Max was involved in farming. He owned and operated a grain threshing crew and business in the Manitowoc and Newton area. Max was then the owner/operator of Sieracki Hardware, Plumbing and Heating of Clover for 32 years. Max and his wife, Marguerite sold the family business to their son, Dennis in 1978 and retired to Crivitiz. Max was licensed as a master plumber and was also a member of the Eagles Aerie #706 of Manitowoc, Northeim Thresheree and the Crooked Lake Catholic Church Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Marguerite; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Gary Sieracki, Crivitz; Glenn Sieracki, Crivitz; Dennis and Connie Sieracki, Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Maxine and Joe Mancheski, Manitowoc; Joan and Tom Lodel, Manitowoc; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Bill and Evelyn Sieracki, Newton; Lucy Sieracki, Manitowoc; Stanley and Catherine Sieracki, Manitowoc; Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Max was also preceded in death by six brothers, John, Alex, Ed, Hank, Sylvester and Daniel; two sisters, Constance (Gustie) Glisch and Blanch Hein.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community on Thursday from 4:30 pm until the time of service at 6:30 pm.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
