SYLVESTER SIERACKE, age 88, of 3823 Custer St., Manitowoc, died Sunday, October 11, 1992, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 1992 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, and 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding the Mass of Christian burial will be Rev. Ronald Reimer with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born March 14, 1904, at Manitowoc, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sieracke. He married the former Edna Pokorski at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Northeim. She preceded him in death in 1941. He then married Frances Gretz at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death in 1985. Mr. Sieracke was employed with Wisconsin Public Service for 43 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, and he also loved gardening.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Carl H. and Lorraine Sieracke, Manitowoc, Daniel Elroy and Christine Sieracke, Grafton, Wis.; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, John Sieracke, Manitowoc, Max and Marguerite Sieracke, Crivitz, Wis., Bill and Evelyn Sieracke, Grafton, Wis.; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, John Sieracke, Manitowoc, Max and Marguerite Sieracke, Crivitz, Wis., Bill and Evelyn Sieracke, Newton, Daniel and Lucy Sieracke, Manitowoc, Stanley and Katherine Sieracke, Clover; one sister, Blanche Hein, Manitowoc; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
