Michael Coy Atkins, 63, of Campobello, SC, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his home. 

Son of Mamie Rhoda Brown Atkins and the late Marvin Ivo Atkins; husband of Heather Zoe Taylor Atkins.

Member of First Baptist Church of Gowensville and was a self-employed salesman with Atkins and Sons.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, J. C. Atkins (Anna); a daughter, Rhetta Atkins and Fiancée Eric West; a sister, Martha Jean Turner (Keith) a sister-in-law, Susan Hall Atkins and two grandchildren, Allison & Lillian Atkins. 

Predeceased by a brother, Joey M Atkins.

Funeral service was held at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Gowensville conducted by Rev. Chad Rickenbaker and Rev. Bruce Schmidt.  The body was placed in the church at 10:00 am for public viewing.  Burial was in the church cemetery. 

Visitation followed after the committal in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Gowensville Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund; 5650 SC 14, Landrum, SC  29356.
