Prayers will be said on Wednesday, March 8th, at 7:00 p.m., at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Luxton Avenue. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, March 9th, at 10.00 a.m., at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Watt Street and Munroe Avenue, with Fr. V. Bozyk officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
Mr. Kwasnicki was born in Filipkovic, Austria and came to Canada in 1908. In 1919, he married Stephania Shmigelsky and they resided at 488 Bowman Avenue, East Kildonan since 1922. He was employed as a carpenter by Winnipeg Supply, retiring in 1960. He was a member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America since 1920.
Besides his beloved wife, Stephania. he leaves to mourn his passing, one son, Walter and daughter-in-law, Stephanie, of Winnipeg, two grandchildren, Valerie (Mrs. Norman Huzel) and Karen (Mrs. Guenther Moeller) and two great grandchildren, Elaine and Candace Huzel.
Mr. Kwasnicki was predeceased by two brothers, John and Emil and one sister, Maria, in Poland.
