Fr. McGinnis was the nephew of my ggGrandmother, Mary [Welsh] Dillon. He was the youngest person ever to graduate with a Doctor of Divinity degree from teh Vatican College in ROme, Italy [age 24]. He was a forward thinking, eccumenical and loving man, the founder of the American branch of the Catholic Truth Society, a a beloved family member.
