DEATH OF JESSE CLARK

Well Known Citizen of Paulding Taken After Protracted Illiness.

Death claimed a well known citizen of Paulding last Thursday morning, October 24th, at 4 o'clock, in the person of Jesse L. Clark, who for a number of years was engaged in the draying business here.
Jesse Clark was a good hearted, genial fellow, and a good citizen. He was ailing for a couple of years or more before the final summons came to him. His affliction was Bright's disease. He suffered one or two paralytic strokes some time back.
He located in Paulding 25 years ago, from Marion county, Ohio.
He leaves a wife and four grown sons to mourn his departure.
The funeral was held from the residence Saturday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. A. R. Custer, of the Methodist church. Interment in Live Oak cemetery.
Following relatives from elsewhere attended the funeral: J.W. Clark and wife of Marion, Ohio; Bert Grace and Mrs. G.W. Edmeston, of Larue, Marion County; Lorenzo Clark, Lewis Clark and R.S. Edmeston, of Harpster, Wyandot County, Ohio; John Straw and wife, of Cement City, Mich.
