Deloris M. Brown, age 87, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 5, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Edna Pike; husband Ralph (Pete) Brown; sister Pauline Kelly; and son Jeffrey Alan.

She is survived by her children Stacey K. Brown and Tammey (David) Geenen, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Dee was a very loving, genuine and kind person. She was a great mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid artist who spent time expressing her talent through painting. She enjoyed her years at Big Star Lake and also her time spent in The Villages in Florida.

A Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St., S.W., Grandville, with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.

In honor of Dee, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
