Mr. Larry Clyde Manning, age 71 of Fort Payne, Alabama, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017. Mr. Manning was born in Fort Payne on June 22, 1946 to the late Clyde Reeves & Mary Ella McDaniel Manning. He retired from Bowater Woodlands. He served our country in the United States Army where he received two purple hearts. He was a member of the 11th Armored Calvary & Veterans of Vietnam and Cambodia. Mr. Manning was a member of St. Joseph Episcopal Church in Mentone.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pamela Tipton Manning; sons &; daughters-in-law, Garrett & Chelsea Manning and Brian & Jennifer Manning; daughter & son-in-law, Breia & Chuck Ledbetter; sisters brothers-in-law, Carolyn & Clifford McElhaney and Sharon &; Bobby Jones; grandchildren, Ethan Ledbetter, Griffin Ledbetter, Aubrey Ledbetter, Larkin Manning, and Ryder Manning. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 7th at St. Josephs Episcopal Church in Mentone, Alabama.
