Alpha Dorene Koonce, 84, of Mustang, went to be with the Lord on 1/5/2018. She was born 7/7/1933 in Bridge Creek, OK., to Earl & Viola Johnson. Alpha was a loving wife, mother & grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. She and her husband, John, loved spending time together camping, riding motorcycles, and fishing. She was loved by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Stephen Koonce and Stanley Koonce. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 68 years, John Leon Koonce, daughter, Theresa Hayes (Gary), daughters-in-law, Marilyn Koonce and Carol Koonce, grandchildren, Ashley Cooley, Lindsey Clements, Justin Koonce, Desiree Allison, Brent Koonce, & Brandon Koonce, and great-grandchildren, Piper, Karson, Jarren, Kinley, Jacie, Easton, Natalie, Jacob, Landon, Brock, Tanner, & Amelia.
Visitation will be held 5-8 pm on Monday, Jan 8. 2018, at Primrose Funeral Service. Funeral service will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, Jan 9, 2018, at Eagle Heights Church, Oklahoma City. Burial will be held at 1 pm at the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, OK.
