Mrs. Jackson was born in Johnston County on August 22, 1927 to the late L. Oris and Sarah Hodges Matthews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George F. Jackson; sisters, Janie Currin and Blanche Miller; and brothers, Jeff Matthews, Yokum Matthews, and Roland Matthews. She was a homemaker and a retired sales clerk.
Survivors are sons & daughters-in-law, Tucker F. & Tama Jackson of Jacksonville, FL, and Kenneth L. & Treva Jackson of Winston-Salem; granddaughter, Savannah Jackson; sister, Neta Wade of Lillington; special niece, Ann Strickland of Sanford; and many nieces & nephews.
Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 10:00AM to 10:45AM Saturday, January 13, 2018, prior to the service.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
