Robert Lee Allen, 58, of Huntsville, passed away October 12, 2005, at Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center following a lingering illness. Born November 2, 1946, he was preceded in death by his father, John H. Allen; and one brother, Johnny Allen. He was a member of Annadell Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Martha Alene Allen of Huntsville; his wife, Anna Marie Goad Allen of Huntsville; one son, Robert Lee Robbie Allen, Jr. and wife, Kelly, of Huntsville; one daughter, Sissy Ann Coffey and husband, Johnny, of Powell; three grandchildren, brother, Joe Allen and wife, Patsy, of Huntsville; sisters: Barbara Jeffers and husband, Thurman, and Jean West and husband, Mike, all of Oneida, and Judy Baird and husband, Roger, of Foster, Ky., and many other relatives. Funeral service was conducted October 14, at Annadell Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Stanley officiating. Interment followed in Allen Family Cemetery with full military honors conducted by American Legion Post #136 of Oneida. West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
