Saltillo – Shirley Terry Fox 86, passed away on January 05, 2018 at the NMMC. She was born on May 08, 1931 to Howard and Bessie Underwood Terry of Brices Crossroads. She was a veteran of U.S. Army serving 3 years as a medic in the U. S. Woman Army Corp in the occupation of Japan and Korea, and medic in flight operations and another 17 years in MS. National Guard. She was a devoted housewife and a faithful member of Mayfield Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Monday at 10:00 A.M. with Bro. Adam Miller and Bro. Kevin Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Mayfield Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Donald Raymond Fox of Saltillo; (2) daughters, Peggy Ann Gray (Michael) and Jean Marie Jaggers (Roger Craig); (2) grandchildren, Zachary Paul Gray (Emily) and Sheena Marie (Jaggers) Smith (Brian); (3) great-grandchildren, Emmilyn Marie Smith, Leah Ann Smith and Zachary Paul Gray Jr.; brother, Fieldon (Wimpie) Terry;sister-in-law, Betty Terry; host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents; (3) brothers, Jackie Terry, Lealon “Popeye” Terry and Harold Lineberry.

Pallbearers will be elders and deacons of Mayfield Church of Christ along with her grandsons, Brian Smith and Zachary Gray.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 2:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Waters Funeral Home.
