Phyllis Jo Anne Watson, age 79, of Manassas, VA went to be with her Lord Wednesday morning, May 25, 2016 at the Manor Care of Fair Oaks after enduring a long illness.
Born on October 20, 1936 in Arlington, VA the daughter of the late Marshall J. and Elsie (Cameron) Thompson. Jo Anne was a 1954 graduate of Washington & Lee High School. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for BMI and Coyne and Weybright, Inc. She was the widow Thomas Watson. Jo Anne was predeceased by her sister Phoebe, and siblings Geraldine, Marshall Jr., and Christine.
Jo Anne is survived by her children, two daughters, one son, 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren; as well as her brother and was Aunt Jo Anne to numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00AM Friday, June 3, 2016 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA where funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Billy G. Tatum officiating. Interment will follow at Bentonville Baptist Church Cemetery, Bentonville, VA
