Clyde Linder Bane, Jr. died Saturday, December 23, 2017, age 92 years. Resident of
Thrive at Brow Wood, Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Born in 1925 in Texarkana, Texas, to Helen Hoffman Bane and Clyde Linder Bane Sr., he graduated from Texas High School and served in the Army Air Corps from 1944-1946. After graduating from Louisiana Tech
University, he married Janice Garmany of Logansport, Louisiana in 1950; together for 59 years until her death in 2009. He worked for Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation for over 30 years, retiring in 1987. Longtime member of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church of Houston and the Bridgebuilder Sunday School class.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife Janice Garmany Bane, sons Clyde L. Bane III and David G. Bane, and brother John M. Bane.

Survived by daughters Barbara Bane of Ridgecrest, CA; Margaret Bane Schatzman (Dr. Nathan Schatzman), grandchildren Rachel and William, all of Lookout Mountain, GA; and niece Jennifer Bane Bryson (Robert Bryson) of Houston, TX.

Internment service will be January 20, 2018 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Texarkana TX, 1 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caring Forever Foundation of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, 12955 Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77024 or Memorial Area Ministries, Houston, Texas.
