Winston Haywood Hunt, 67, of the 1600 block of Hoover Ave., died Jan. 23, 2007, in Chesapeake Health Care Center. A native of Norfolk County, he was an employee for 28 years of Portsmouth Naval Exchange and a member of Gilmerton Star AMEZ Church in Chesapeake. He is survived by his sister, Wanza H. Spellman of Chesapeake; a brother, William I. Hunt of New York; nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in First Baptist Church Gilmerton, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Paul Griffin. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, will begin at noon today. The body will be at the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
