Herman Thomas Murphy, 88, of Dry Fork, passed away on December 31, 2017 at Piney Forest Health & Rehab in Danville. He was born on May 3, 1929, in Pittsylvania County, son of Percy Hugh Murphy and Beulah Crane Murphy. He was married to the late Beulah Yeatts Murphy.
He was a member of Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by a sister, Judith M. Riggins. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ralph E. Murphy; a sister, Rachel M. Giles.
Burial will be in Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery.
