"Brumley, Alma Anderson Key, 95, was born on March 23, 1922 to George Oliver and Ruth Peevey Anderson.
Alma was a graduate of Shawnee Girls High School. She was also a charter member of Suburban Christian Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and served in the positions of Deaconess and President of the Women's Fellowship. She taught Sunday school and was a member of the Old Christian Church Auxiliary Board, where she served as recording secretary for one term. Her real joy was working with her friends and cooking meals or refreshments for special occasions at the church.

Alma was preceded in passing by her first husband of 53 years Everett Key, her second husband Bernie Brumley, son, E. Terry Key, sister Mildred (Dude) Graves, her parents, and her stepfather Robert Atwell.
She is survived by her son, Ronald A. Key; daughter, Carol Jane Key; brother, Edgar C. Anderson (Mary); sister, Judith Ann Snipp (Bill); 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, Nancy Jenks (Marvin); and many nieces and nephews.

She was loved by all her family very much and will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held from 3 to 8 PM on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd., Louisville, Ky.

A service to celebrate Alma's life will be held at 10 AM on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
