Leon T. Hammond, 82, of 1164 East Shore Drive, died in Tompkins County Hospital. Born in Elmira, he was a son of the late William D. and Susie Thomas Hammond. His late wife was the former Anna Gallagher.
Mr. Hammond was retired from the NCR Co. He had worked as a customer orders manager for over twenty-five years.
He is survived by a brother, Collier V. Hammond, Ithaca; nieces and nephews; cousins.
Funeral services will be held in the Bangs Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Resurrection in the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
The bearers will be Louis Calloway, Edward Hollister, Bernard Maas, Anthony Sturm, George Zellar, and R.G. Fowler.
