Mrs. Hammond was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Business and Professional Women's Club.
She is survived by her husband, Leon T. Hammond; a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Kellogg, Ithaca; nieces and nephews; cousins.
Funeral services were held in the Bangs Funeral Home, followed by a High Mass of Requiem in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Graveside prayers were said in Calvary Cemetery.
Bearers: George Allick, Mark J. Garvey, Louis G. Golway, Edward L. Hollister, Anthony Sturm, and George A. Zellar.
