Lucille M. Koehler, age 78, of Plainfield, passed away Sunday morning, December 31, 2017 at Patriot Place Assisted Living in Berlin.

She was born January 29, 1939 in the town of Almond, the daughter of the late Harry and Helen (O’Keefe) Olkiewicz. She married Richard Koehler on August 18, 1956 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Almond.

Lucille was in the class of 1957 at Tri-County Area Schools. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Koehler retired from the former Union State Bank, after 23 years.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Koehler; her daughter, Debra (James) Goodyear, Berlin; her son, Todd (Elizabeth) Koehler, New York; seven grandchildren, Daniel (Meagan) Buehler, Megan (Andrew) Reetz Tully, Brittany (Christopher) Reetz Esselman, Erich Koehler, Katherine Koehler, Kristofor (Robyn) Moore, Brandon (Janice) Moore; four great grandchildren, Felicity Moore, Devin Buehler, Mason Buehler, Jaren Buehler; her son-in-law, David Moore, Oklahoma; her brother-in-law, Donald Payne, Oshkosh; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Moore in 2004 and her sister, Alice Payne.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Plainfield. Burial will be in the parish cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church.

The Stahl Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
