Angeline ( Gale ) Sopsich was born April 12, 1910 in Ahmeek, MI to parents John and Margaret Sopcich (*Spellings used, Sopcich or Sopsich) Growing up, she attended the Ahmeek schools. She worked at the Ahmeek meat market from 1928 to 1930. Gale married Peter Gromalak on April 28, 1930. After their marriage they moved from Ahmeek, MI to Copper City, MI. Together Angeline (Gale) and Peter had four children: David, Fred, Marge & Gale. She also worked for Houghton county health department as a nurse's aide doing home health care. Angeline (Gale) Gromalak passed away on February 17, 1998 in Hancock, MI. and is buried next to her husband Peter at the Lake View Cemetery in Calumet, MI.
