IDA B. WHITE, 95, of Memphis, formerly of 327 Boston St., departed this life on March 20, 2007 at Delta Medical Center. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, March 27 at M. J. Edwards Airways Chapel and graveside service will be at 11 a.m, Wednesday, March 28 in New Park Cemetery. Ida B. White was born December 2, 1911 in Collierville, TN to the late A. T. Perry and Estella (Jett) White. She accepted Christ at an early age at New Sherron Baptist Church in Cayce, MS. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Albert (Mack) White; two brothers, Mack White, Jr. and John Edward White; one son, Cassel Howard; and two daughters, Elvia Mae Toles and Eva Perry. She leaves to celebrate her home going, her loving caregiver, Gloria Tabor; four grandsons, Minister Barnabas (Gloria) Tabor, Jr., Michael (Patricia) Tabor of Memphis, TN, David Toles of Janesville, WI, and John K. Toles of Detroit, MI; one granddaughter, Carlinda Tabor of Memphis, TN; 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; cousins, Frank Jett, Jr. of Bellevue, NE, David West of San Francisco, CA; Vernon Jett of Memphis, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.
