Margaret E. Hammond of Penn Hills, formerly of Middlesex Township, died Wednesday December 24, 2003 afternoon at St. Margaret's Seneca Place in Penn Hills.

She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Brado.
Mrs. Hammond was a homemaker and a member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Glade Mills, where she participated in the Smiling Seniors and the women's club.
She was the loving mother of Barbara Belardi (William) of Penn Hills and James Hammond (Marcy) of Clifton Park, N.Y.; cherished grandmother of Suzann Duncan (Adam), Matthew Belardi (Mandy) and Krystal and Michael Hammond; and dear great-grandmother of Emily Duncan.

She was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert "Ted" Hammond. She also was preceded in death by her brothers, Andrew and Joseph Brado.

HAMMOND - Friends of Margaret E. Hammond, who died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at McDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, Route 8, Glade Mills. The Rev. John Maloney will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be may be made to Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church Building Fund, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler, PA 16002.
