Peggy Turner, age 79, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at her home, after a long struggle with dementia. She was born on July 18, 1938, in King, Arkansas.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Peggy was a steadfast follower of Jesus Christ and expressed that through her active involvement in First Baptist Church of
De Queen. She worked for many years as a legal secretary and retired as a deputy county clerk of Sevier County. She was a past member of PEO.
Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Tollie Whitley Bagwell; three brothers, Harold Bagwell, Norman Bagwell and Jimmy Bagwell; one half-brother, Herbert Bagwell and one sister, Clarene Miller.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Turner of De Queen. Son and daughter-in-law, David and Starla Turner of Lowell, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Michael Gage, Jared Gage, Sam Turner and Emily Turner; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Turner will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel Rev. Charles Hebert officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Cemetery in Gillham, Arkansas.
