Mrs. Sophia Harden
Further particulars in regard to the death of Mrs. Sophia Harden of Lane, South Dakota, state that she passed away on February 13th after a week’s illness caused from heart trouble.
Mrs. Harden was born in Gainesville, August 7th, 1846, the oldest daughter of Elnathan and Cynthia Graves Marsh. On September 10th, 1868 she was united in marriage to James W. Harden who death occurred on March 8th, 1907.
Mrs. Harden is survived by one son Herman, two adopted sons, two grandsons, and two sisters, Mrs. Alta R. Briggs of Castile and Mrs. O. G. (May) Quick of Silver Springs.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 16 from the Congregational Church of which she was a member and burial made at Wessington Springs, South Dakota beside her husband.
