Maxine (Bryan) Frazier of Perkins, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017. Maxine graduated from Wayne High School and attended SWOSU in Weatherford the following summer. She received a BA in sociology and psychology and a Master’s in English Education. She had 30 plus post-grad hours from OSU. She married Skip Frazier and together they had twin sons Brent and Bryan. Maxine had a 26-year teaching career in AP English, sociology and psychology. She sponsored numerous classes and clubs and represented the school-to-work initiative for a number of years. She was Region 6 Teacher of the year and Perkins HS Teacher of the year twice. She had been a member of Iota Delta Kappa Gamma, a lifetime member of National Ed. Association, the National Teachers of English, and the Oklahoma Teachers of English. She held offices in local educational associations from President to Reporter. She was a long-time member of the Church of Christ. Maxine was most proud to be a devoted mother and wife who loved doing things with her family. She delighted in taking care of her grandsons whenever possible.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Sons and daughters-in-law, Grandsons 1 Sister 1 Brother, Several nieces and nephews and their children.

In lieu of flowers, Maxine requested donations to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the charity of your choice.

Viewing hours will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 8:00 A.M-8:00 P.M. at Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 P.M.

Graveside Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 29, 2017, at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
