Born March 17, 1936 in Tazewell Tennessee, Oma was one of 12 children born from the union of Andy and Flora (Russell) Miracle. She married Loren West on May 17, 1954 in New Tazewell Tennessee.
Oma spent her life as a homemaker. Her priority was always taking care of others. She cherished her time spent with her family. Oma was a member of Grape Missionary Baptist Church and was a part of the Heavens Helper ladies group. In her spare time, she loved to quilt and watch the Detroit Tigers.
To cherish her memory, Oma leaves four children: Kathy L. Brooks of Monroe, Robin L. (Matthew) Miller of Monroe, Kyle L. West of Toledo and Lisa A. West of Monroe; five grandchildred: Fred Brooks, Andy (Cassey) Brooks, Brooke Wilcik, Jacob Miller and Justin Miller; two great grand-children, Andy II and Hanna; one brother, Carson (Janet) Miracle; and one sister, Elaine (George) DeBusk.
Mary was preceded in death her husband, Loren; her parents, Andy and Flora Miracle; brothers: Dewey Keller, Carl Keller, Lloyd Keller, Matthew Miracle, Everet Miracle and Dane Miracle; and three sisters: Emily McFadden, Nellie Wylie, and Esther Evans.
