Evelyn L. Franklin, 95, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Penn Hall. Born November 5, 1922 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late G. Harold and Rhoda E. (Jones) Ott. Evelyn was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church. Surviving are her son, Thomas Franklin of Mechanicsburg; two daughters, Debra Oller (Mike) and Connie Eppinger (Dave), both of Chambersburg; one granddaughter, Bria Tobie (Matt); two grandsons, Jereme Oldt (Brooke) and Bryan Oldt; step grandchildren, Matt Oller (Jessica), Molly Smith (Rick) and Rose Witter; six great-grandchildren, Elaina, Max, Tate, Quinn, Landon and Miles; and a sister, Shirley Barkdoll (Bud). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald Franklin (1989); and a brother, Ralph Ott. The funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
