Justin Robert Ross, 21, of Cottonwood, found his peace Thursday Dec. 14, 2017. Justin was born on April 1, 1996, to Joe Ross and Polly (Canaday) Mozingo in Cottonwood.

Justin attended school in Cottonwood and graduated from Prairie High School in 2015. He then continued to work in the construction field.

Although his life was far too short, his memories will last a lifetime for those who were fortunate enough to know him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, fence building, wood cutting, riding motorcycles and four-wheelers. His sense of humor, radiant personality and kind-hearted nature brought a smile to everyone around him. Justin had a unique talent with animals that was apparent.

Justin is survived by his dad Joe and stepmom Denise; his mom Polly and stepdad Jim. Two brothers, Tyler and Dalton; sister, Kendra; nephews, Gunner and Trey. He is also survived by stepbrothers Mike, Nathan and Tanner; stepsisters, Logan and McKenzie; grandparents Bob and Donna; aunts and uncles Dan and Jeanie, Scott and Tara, Gary and Lisa, Teresa, Lori, Bridget, Pat and Jeannette. He is also survived by many cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Ben and Linda Canaday, his much-loved uncle Clint Ross and cousin Jessica Hosley.

A rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m., Friday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cottonwood. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Inurnment will take place at Keuterville Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at Keuterville Hall following the graveside.
