Grace Amelia Simpson, the daughter of Frank and Cora (Larson) Johnson, was born on March 26, 1917 in Wesley, Iowa. On October 7, 1936 Grace was united in marriage with Stanley Simpson in Britt, Iowa. Grace was a devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed working in her garden and flower bed, sewing, quilting and baking.
Left to cherish Grace’s memory are her children, Richard (Jeanetta) Simpson of Algona, Diana (Richard) Crail of Algona and Karen Simpson of Wesley; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; sister, Irene McNeill of Spirit Lake and sisters-in-law, Violet Gerber of Algona and Gloria (Dean) Heimdal of Clear Lake.
