Princess Friederike Charlotte Ulrike Katharina of Prussia was a Prussian and British princess. She was the eldest daughter of King Frederick William II of Prussia and Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick-Lüneburg. She married Prince Frederick, Duke of York and Albany, the second son of King George III on 29 Sep 1791 at Charlottenburg Palace, Berlin. The marriage was not a happy one, they did not have any children and they separated and the Duchess retired to Oatlands Park, Weybridge, Surrey where she lived eccentrically until her death. She is also commemorated by a monument on Monument Green, Weybridge erected by the people of Weybridge.
