Kevin E. Russell AAMS, 49, Joplin, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Kevin Eugene Russell was born April 1, 1968 in Joplin, MO to Cecil E. Russell and Cheryl (Stockton) Miller. He graduated from Webb City High School, Class of 1986 and later received his BA in Finance from MSSC in 1995. Kevin worked as a financial manager for Russell Wealth Management in Joplin. Kevin married Julissa Mejia on June 30, 1989 in Joplin, MO; she survives. Kevin was a Catholic by faith.
Kevin is survived by his mother, his wife, a son, Brant Russell, Joplin, MO, and was preceded in death by a daughter, Brooke Russell. Additional survivors include one brother, Kendall Russell (Sonja), Springfield, MO; two sisters, Kelly Russell (John Reilly), Corpus Christi, TX, and Melanie Russell (Laura); and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father and daughter.
Memorial services were held 1:30 pm, Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Private burial will be at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Joplin, MO.
