Ronnie Joe Sanders Sr., 63, of Pocola, Oklahoma passed away December 17, 2017. He was born December 26, 1953 in West Plains, Missouri. He worked as Maintenance for Gerber and was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Janice Sanders of the home, one son Randy Joe Sanders of the home, two sisters; Bernice Turner of Bakersfield, MO, Shirley James of Poteau, OK, one sister-in-law Francis Kuandart of Bonanza, AR, six nephews; Austin and Dalton James of Poteau, OK, Tony Pratt of Paragould, AR, Charles and Tom Pratt of Rosebud, AR and Steven Kuandart of Bonanza, AR, two nieces; Shellia Speir of Chickasha, OK and Sherrial McKeldy of Bonanza, AR and numerous loved ones and friends. Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola, OK. Pallbearers will be John Limbocker, Don Didder, Wesley Riggs, Ed Whittington, George Trimmell, and David Holmes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony, Charles and Tom Pratt, Steven Kuandart, Bill Brock,Chris Marshal, Darren Tull, Ricky Nemeth, Allen Blevins, Allen Hussman, Jake Dawson, Gary Short, Austin James, Russell Webber and Jerold Ortlies. There will be no viewing. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-6:30 pm at Kay Pipkins home in Pocola, OK. Donations may be made to a Go Fund me account to assist the family.
