Funeral services for Mrs Martha Ella Parrish, 64, who died last Friday night in Montgomery were held today at the 16th Street Church of God, with the Rev A L Burroughs and the Rev G D Waits officiating. Burial was in Edgemont Cemetery. Jones Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs Parrish had lived in Anniston all her life until two years ago when she move to Montgomery.
She is survived by one son, Paul Driggers of Oak Ridge, Cal; one daughter, Mrs Mae Vinson of Anniston; one sister, Mrs Scott Ledbetter of Anniston; and 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren, all of Anniston.
Pallbearers were Harvey Hester, Henry and Claude Dear, Willie Holloway, Jim Carver and E C Self.
