Helen Faber of Glastonbury, passed away Sunday (March 17, 2002) at the Glastonbury Health Center after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was born in Glastonbury, the daughter of the late John and Katherine Drost Faber and was a lifelong resident.

Prior to her retirement she worked at the J.B. Williams for over 35 years. Helen also won the prize for naming the One-Stop Shopping Center on New London Turnpike. She regularly attended the Monday night Novena at St. Paul Church for years. Published in the Hartford Courant.
