Teresa Palomares, 63, of Bryan, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Teresa was born in Bryan, Texas, to Felipe and Gabriella Torres Palomares. She was a hard-working lady who was always giving out love with a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. She was employed with the Brazos County Courthouse and worked there until her retirement in 2015. When she wasn’t working, Teresa loved going to the movies and cooking. If she wasn’t cooking, she was enjoying a good meal at a restaurant. Her favorite was a ribeye at Texas Roadhouse. Being a mother and grandmother was the focus of her life. Teresa’s Catholic faith was very important to her. She was an active member of St. Anthony’s.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Palomares.

Survivors include her son, Julian Ortega, of Bryan; daughter, Monica Narro and husband, Frank, of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Adrienne Narro and Ethan Narro; brothers, Oscar Palomares and wife, Mary, and Jesse Palomares and wife, Cindy; sisters, Dolores Aco and husband, Rick Aco, and Concha Palomares; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
