born near Kallundborg, SjelIand,
Denmark on December
9, 1863. She was baptised
and confirmed in the Lutheran
faith. As a young woman
she immigrated to America.
She came to Chicago
in 1892.
In 1897 she came to
Newell where she was united
in marriage to Ole Larsen on
April 9 of that year. To this
union 5 children were born;
Louie, Harry and Ernest of
Newell, and Ella Mleynch of
Omaha. Esther preceded her
in death as a child.
They spent the early years
of their married life on a
farm northeast of Newell. Up
on retiring they moved to
Storm Lake where husband
passed away in 1934. For the
last 16 years she had lived
with her daughter and family
in Omaha.
After a short illness she
passed away on August 10
at the age of 96 years, 8 mos
She is survived by four
children as well as 11 grandchildren
and 12 great grandchildren.
