The funeral of George W. Sunnucks, who died at St. Paul, Minn., was held Tuesday afternoon from the Goetz & Beduhn undertaking parlors. Mr. Sunnuck conducted a confectionery business here for a number of years previous to moving to St. Paul.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hickey, the latter a daughter of Mr. Sunnucks, came here from St. Paul to attend the funeral.

G.W. Sunnucks, who for several years conducted the Empire Confectionary and left this city five years ago, died at Minneapolis Thursday, March 27, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.F. Hickey where he made his home. The remains were brought here Monday for interment. Deceased was born in Waupun, Wis., 65 years ago. He was a resident of this city for fifteen years being employed at the Empire Building. He had been in his usual good health aside from the handicap of lameness which he always suffered since a boy, when he was injured by a premature explosion at a Fourth of July celebration. He passed away after an illness of two weeks. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from the Beduhn & Goetz undertaking parlors under auspices of the Modern Woodmen lodge. Deceased leaves his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Hickey. Hamilton Plant a number of years and later conducting the confectionary in the city.
