Robbie Hudson Roberts
Services for Mr. Roberts will be 3:30 pm Thursday, June 6, 1996 at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown with the Rev. Bill Enoch officiating and the Rev. Tim Crosby assisting.
Burial will be at Jones Hill cemetery. Mr. Roberts, 86, died Tuesday, June 4, at University Medical Center. A native and lifetime resident of Watertown, he was retired from the State of Tennessee Department of Highways. Mr. Roberts was affiliated with the Alexandria First Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Calhoun Roberts and Ida Clayborne Roberts.
Survivors include his wife Gertie Everett Roberts; son Howell (Lorea) Roberts of Watertown; three daughters Mildred (Glen) Oakley and Ida Nelle (Paul) Granstaff, all of Watertown and Johnnie (Hank) Dunklin of Lebanon; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Bessie Russell of Watertown and Mable Bratten of Nashville; four brothers Frank and Turner Roberts of Alexandria, Calvin Roberts of Watertown and Gaston Roberts of Lebanon; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Russell, James and Randy Roberts, Jerry Taylor, Howard Donnell, Jewel Huddleston and Bratten Barrett.
