Mrs. Alice Shanahan Long of San Francisco passed away there Thursday, June 14, 1962.
Wife of the late Frank Long. Grandmother of Mrs. Donald Tibbits of Kentfield, and Mrs. Dwight Lindeman of Reno, nevada. Sister of Frank Shanahan of Eureka and Mrs. Annie McGorty of Cotati. She is survived by numerous nephews, nieces and 7 great grandchildren.
Member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in San Francisco for 38 years. After her marriage to Frank Long, she lived in Eureka for 31 years before moving to San Francisco to make her home. A native of Elk River, Humboldt county, age 90 years.
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. June 18, 1962 at Pierce Mortuary. Services will be held in Pierce Chapel at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 1962, with the Rev. John Farrell officiating. Interment at St. Bernard's Cemetery.
