He was born March 24, 1946 in Dyer to the late Adlai and Ella Henson.
He was retired from Dixie Cup, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Lennie Henson of the home; two daughters, Patti Harris of Mulberry, and Gayla Tolbert of Ozark; a son, Heath Staap of Muldrow; a sister, Ella Jo Peters of Mulberry; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2017 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Rankin Cemetery in the Lone Elm Community of Franklin County, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Logan Webb, David Harris, Joshua White, David Tolbert, Cole Ritchie, and Jacob Tolbert.
