Opal Jean Morse, 77, of Mulberry, AR, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 in her home. She was born April 16, 1932 in Dyer, Arkansas.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, and was preceded in death by her husband, William "Junior" Morse.
She is survived by one daughter, Patty Patterson of Van Buren, AR; two sons, Danny Morse and his wife Suzanne of La Porte, TX and Earl Morse of Mulberry, AR; one sister, Ella Jo Peters of Mulberry, AR; one brother, George Gale Henson of Mulberry, AR; 5 grandchildren, April Warford, Amanda McKinley, Ronnie Morse, Misty Thibodeaux, and Cody Patterson; as well as 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral service was Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Mulberry Open Door Church with burial at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were James Medlock, Thomas Bernard, Greg Auker, Ronnie Auker, Jerry Blevin, Randy Jones, James Joslin, Pat Dougan, and Bobby Satterfield.
Honorary pallbearers were Brother Junior, Robert Baker, Darren Kirk, John Nickols, and Dowel McCabe.
