Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Sunday, May 5, 2013 in her 94th year. Widow of Maynard William Dolman (1961), past Deputy Fire Chief (1953-1956) and Fire Chief of Ottawa (1956-1961). Nora was an employee of Charles Ogilvy Ltd. (1962-1984).
Survived by her stepdaughter Barbara (John) Darraugh of Quyon, QC, step-granddaughter Heather (David) Yeo and their children Dalon and Damian, nephew Robert (Bobby) Dunn, nieces Nora (Stuart) Martin and Wendy (Mike) Newport of Bristol, England, step-nieces Margaret (Peggy) Burbidge, Norma (Jack) Fallis, and step-nephew Bruce Burbidge all of Ottawa. Predeceased by stepson Kenneth "Ken" (Anne of BC) Dolman. Also fondly remembered by several other nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at West End Villa for their gentle care and cheerfulness. A private interment of cremated remains was held at Beechwood Cemetery.
