Jeannie Cunningham, 74, of Sand Springs, died Monday, December 4, 2017 at Scenic Mountain Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 5, 2017 at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Dr. Michael Seay, pastor of Midway Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

Jeannie was born December 8, 1942 in Pioneer, Texas to Doris Ruth Sheehan Fleener and Ellis Franklin Fleener.

She grew up in Levelland, Texas before coming to Big Spring to attend Howard College in 1960.

She married Don Cunningham in Big Spring on January 18, 1963. Don had passed away in May of 2012.

Jeannie was a homemaker.

She had also worked at Scenic Mountain Medical Center, Woolworths Soda Shop, and owned Santa Fe Sandwich & Grill in the Big Spring Mall for 13 years.

The love of her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jeannie is survived by two daughters: Jill Ringener and Jancy Cunningham, both of Sand Springs; four grandchildren: Tiffany Ringener, Jared Ringener (Kristina), Janessa Chang-Ringener, and Jacy Jo Don Cunningham; two great grandchildren: Kole James and Cooper Chang-Ringener; one sister: Jo Ogle (Chuck); one brother: Richard Fleener; six nieces: Kateryn Phillips, Teri Leach, Sheila Cunningham, Debbie Cunningham, Michelle Couch and Suzanne Richardson; six nephews: Gus, Scott, Paul, Rafe and Ted Fleener, Charlie Ogle, and Richie Fleener, who was a caregiver to Don and Jeannie and was like a son; one brother-in-law: Ron Cunningham (Mary Sue) and one sister-in-law: Martha Fleener.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jeanie was preceded in death by one brother: Robert Fleener and one nephew: Jason Ogle.
