DIED—Joseph Stoer, at his home Mar. 28, 1901, aged 74 years 5 months and 13 days.
Again the gates of Heaven have opened to admit a middle aged man who was yet in the bloom of life. He was born in Germany in 1853 and at the age of ten came to America and settled in this town shortly after his arrival. He was married in 1879 to Miss Mary Geodjen and is survived by her and ten children, three boys and seven girls. His parents, one brother and two sisters also survive him. For the past two years he has been an invalid and his death was due to heart failure and dropsy. He was loved and respected by all who knew him and friends and neighbors sympathize with the family in having lost such a father and husband and all accompanied him to his last visiting place at the public cemetery in Two Rivers Sunday March 31.
